NH DOT Inspection Presentation:
Liberty International Trucks - Barrington, NH
One of the most interesting and highly attended seminars, the NH DOT Truck Inspection, will be held at Liberty International in Barrington New Hampshire on Wednesday June 13th. The speaker for June's meeting will Trooper Carl Huddleston from the State of New Hampshire, Department of Safety. Trooper Huddleston's presentations are always highly informative.
A mock NH DOT Roadside Inspection of a truck will be performed. Bring your questions about DOT roadside inspections, compliance reviews, drug and alcohol testing, financial responsibility, CDL licensing, DOT-training requirements, rules of the road for commercial vehicle operations, parts and accessories for safe operation, cargo securement, hours of service for drivers, vehicle inspection, repair and maintenance and hazardous materials transportation. A brief period for specific questions on your individual fleets will be available as time allows. As time is short, we ask that all questions be relevant to the subject matter.
Liberty International Trucks - A Brief History
On November 1, 2000 Liberty International Trucks Inc. gave way to Liberty International Trucks of New Hampshire, LLC. Mark Nicholas, a 26-year employee with International Harvester Company, Navistar and finally International Truck & Engine Corp., became the Manager/Owner. Virtually every operating aspect of the old Corporation continued with the new venture, including all employees.
Liberty International Trucks of New Hampshire, LLC not only represents International Truck & Engine Corp., but also handles Fuso cab-forward products from Mitsubishi, Workhorse Commercial products, Amthor International tanks and is a stocking dealer for the Danco line of wreckers & car carriers. Recently, Liberty became affiliated with the Zanotti line of truck/trailer refrigeration units.
In January 2012, Liberty opened their second location on Rt.125 in Barrington, NH. They purchased the former American Truck Service building, a four-year old state-of-the-art facility on 15 acres of land. Their goal is to better serve their current and new customers located in the Seacoast area with a full range of new & used truck sales, parts (including all makes) and service for all makes (warranty for International & Fuso). Note: Information concerning Liberty International was extracted and edited from material on their website.
